The Czech Lions Cup puts your player on home ice against Czech club programs in Prague — one of hockey's great capitals. The competition is real: the clubs your player faces develop pros, and the pace and structure of Czech hockey changes how kids see the game. Off the ice, Prague's castles, bridges, and old-town streets turn a hockey week into a family story told for years.

Includes

  • Hotel — centrally located team accommodations
  • Meals — daily breakfast plus lunch or dinner
  • Hockey — tournament play, minimum 5 games per team, plus practices
  • Transportation — ground transfers for all scheduled games and activities
  • Excursions — Prague cultural tours and sightseeing days

How does my player get on a team?
Apply for the event — there's no charge to apply. Coach Chad and staff evaluate every application to make sure the player fits the level of the event. Once approved, you'll be able to submit your $1,000 deposit to secure the spot.
Are there tryouts?
No formal tryouts. Players are evaluated through their application — level, game history, coach recommendations, references, and video. Game footage helps a lot, so include a link if you have one.
What if we want to arrive early or stay later?
Totally doable. Tell us your travel dates and we'll help arrange extra hotel nights so your family's extended stay is covered.
If we're waitlisted, what are the chances we get in?
Waitlisted players are contacted in the order they applied — applying early is always the right move.
Will the team get together before the trip?
Unlikely — we keep pre-trip travel and commitments to a minimum for families. Rosters connect through the team communication channel before departure.
We don't know how many family members are coming yet — should we wait?
No — apply as soon as you've decided your player is in. Family travelers can be added or changed later.
What's the refund policy?
Every booking is protected by a written refund policy and liability waiver, provided in full at registration — no fine-print surprises.
